This year, you will have the opportunity to experience the day-to-day life and culture of the River People community. You will be working with communities in the region of Barcarena, located in the state of Pará in the north Brazil, the Amazon area.
There are possibly 90,000 “Ribeirinhos”communities in Brazil. Approximately 10% of them have missionaries present or the presence of a church.
